Where can I find good PHPBB templates?

how do i install templates in phpbb forums? plz guys i need help verybadly..... details will be nice....

Phpbb Template question? Hey this is for experienced phpbb users only! Please do not tell me to go to the phpbb.com site for reference because I've already searched there. My question is how can I change the default subsilver to a different template? Thank you.

adding a new class in a phpbb template? Alright so...for some reason I'm not getting this. But basically I've learned that for everything in my style that I don't want to change, I have to change the class of it. (Like for instance, the same class is assigned to 5 things so you change the color and all of those 5 things change to that color). But I'm not quite getting how I create a NEW class. How do I name it? Where do I put it? I'm just lost on this. Can someone help me out please?

How do I Change PHPBB Board to make it look like the rest of my website? Please help! I just created a website using MS Publisher. I managed to add the phpbb message board and everything works. I would like the message board to look like the reste of my website. Is it possible to create a template in Publisher and change it php template format? I would be happy to give someone my website so they can look at it and give me ideas or even just let me know if it's even possible. Would be happy to pay someone to do it for me as an option. Is there somewhere I can get wiki templates to host a wiki on my site...? kinda like how phpbb offers a forum template, I'd like to host some wiki pages.

How do I install a mod for phpBB 2.0.16? I am running a version of phpBB forum that is version 2.0.16. I realize that it is a bit outdated...but I am currently using the "LastCrusade" template. I want to install a mod I found onto the forum but I cannot figure out how to do so. Is this a manual process and if so, can someone direct to a place with instructions!? THANKS SO MUCH!

Where are the .tpl files located on PHPBB? I am trying to put some adsense code into my phpbb. I know how to insert it and have found all the instructions but i just cant find any files ending in .tpl, all mine end in .html. I've looked in all the folders, including the template ones as i guess thats what .tpl is for, but i just cant find them :-( I have the latest version and i've found similarly named filed such as main_footer.htm but where is main_footer.tpl ?!?! I find all these guides saying "Find the following line of code" but i cant find it in the file i'm told to open. I am using phpbb but it seems like everyones talking about a different program! All i want is to put adsense ads in a forum :-(

What do I need to make a website? Well I need to make a website, I have the template in hand, and the forum as well. I want to make it a .com. How much will it cost me? How do you edit an OScommerce template? I buy phpbb and flash templates all the time and i've never had so much trouble with editing. I've figured out how to edit the images but I can't figure out how to change any of the content. (I know how to login to my admin area and change categories and add new products etc.). I just don't understand where my basic template is located to make changes to the layout. I've tried all the different index.php files that my template came with. HELP! P.S. - What I would really like to do is turn my "box titles" into graphics instead of text like on this website... www.mychocolateaffair.com. What file would I need to edit to do that???

I need help with my my phpBB forum? I changed the default template added some categories and whenever I go on the hme page it says the board is not available the link is: kyuubikisame.bestbulletinboard.com

How to remove tabs, line breaks, unneeded spaces, etc? I am trying to save a little bandwidth by removing line breaks, tabs, unneeded spaces, etc. that you would see in a browser's view source. Is there a way of doing this when I'm using a php template class? Example: Google.com. If you view their source, the code is cropped. Info: I have read some information regarding php's ob_start but I am not sure if that would apply to me as the examples I've seen echo's the buffer, whereas the template class is derived from phpbb and it has it's own $template method to make the output. Example of method I use: $tpl->set_filenames(array( 'body' => 'index.tpl') ); $tpl->loadfile('body'); $tpl->pparse('body'); My HTML code is in index.tpl, and the PHP code is in index.php. The $tpl call's the template class and builds the page on pparse. Jan: php.net does not have a forum, and I am hoping someone here might know! Cva: That is bad advice! The way it is suppose to be done is proccessing the output, while leaving the original code untouched, as it should.

Making a forum? Im making a forum but im not sure what steps to take, I have bought a domain and hosting with 1&1 and was wondering if I need an ftp client or what, and i want to download a readymade template from phpbb or somewhere. Building a Website. Need help with forum and news feed template? Hey, I am creating a website for an online game. I am hoping to find a forum template and also have a main page that has a news feed where you can post recent news and post pictures/videos that are embedded. Does anyone know of any cheap but professional looking forums that would make for a strong website? My price range is <$200 (I know this is not a lot!). Creating a new website for a guild. Need help!? I have recently decided to make a website for a clan, and i was wondering how I would go about this. I notice most other clans use phpBB, and one of the companies that hosts websites i have taken interest in, specifically SiteGround.com. The problem is it seems that you either have to make your own webpages, or use one of their templates (which doesnt relate to my guild). I used to use guildportal, but I didn't like it so much because of its really limiting when it comes to customization of the layout. Can anyone help me out on how I could get started? Maybe on what programs I could use to start creating webpages so I can upload them to the site (preferebly free), and any other helpful information that i may be overlooking right now. Thanks!

I need loads of really cool templates to choose from , for the design , layout , and overall look , but also the potential of editing these and inserting my own graphics. Creating professional websites. Need to know more? What languages do I need to learn to create professional website which would have: content management system (CMS), forum, users login? Now I know these languages: xhtml, css, javascript, phpbb and photoshop 5.0 for design. What do I need to learn more? If you're websites programmer or designer, please reveal me what well known programs or languages do you use mostly to create professional website? P.s., don't recommend me to use templates, I need to learn myself only with help of programs or web languages.

What is the Best Forums Application for a Website that Works using MySQL PHP and Has Login, Spam Controls? I had PHPBB on a website but the spam bots got in there and it was difficult to maintain and clean up. Is there a better way to install and manage a Forums App? Maybe with an advanced login page or something with a CAPTCHA? Any ideas. Please provide links, thanks. Also would like a Forum App than I can customize to look and feel of website or is skinless and can run within a DWCS3 template design (if that is possible?).

Template integration? I have a phpbb board with a vistaX template [url=]http://www.nsmbcyouth.110mb.com[] and i would like to take that top bar as well as the back ground and intigrate into the home page i will have for that site before users clicking onto the boards. ive tryed copy and paste but it wont work. anyone know how i can do that

Should I base my Web Community Site off a premade template or not? I am designing a PHP/mySQL community website online and I am having trouble in the very beginning. I am not sure if I should be designing my own database or, if I should try to integrate it into an open source framework that already exists like phpBB. Is security from link spammers and spam bots hard to program? (I would say I am an advanced programmer in some languages, just starting PHP tho) or could I reasonable develop my own community site which has good protection from exploitation without spending an unreasonable amount of time doing so?
